Claims of Definition
Directions: compose a 1,100-1,400 word paper on a claim of definition based on one of the below words. This definition argument should incorporate a minimum of four academic, scholarly sources*. Word Choices: (select one, may use in any form, i.e. privilege or privileged) Citizenship; Privacy; Education; Privilege; Art; Tolerance; Minority; Family; Violence; Dedication; Confidence; Independence; Inspirational; Progressive; Bipartisan Compose your paper in third person POV (avoid first person “I”). This is a research-based paper, so should not be based on personal experience but rather larger, credible sources. IF you have highly relevant experience, please limit it to no more than a short paragraph as an anecdote. Check to make sure your paper is in proper MLA format (Links to an external site.) (including 12pt Times New Roman) and that you meet the word requirement. Check that your heading is correct, and that you’ve spelled my name correctly, please. Give your paper an original and engaging title. Include an MLA Works Cited (Links to an external site.) page. NOTE: This Works Cited page does not count toward the word requirement and should be on a separate page.
