Confederate Armies

3.  The Civil War was the bloodiest and most destructive conflict in history.  In the end, the Northern forces emerged victorious, and the Union was preserved.  Write an essay in which you identify some of the factors behind the Union victory.  How was it that the northern armies were able to overcome the vigorous resistance of the Confederate armies and eventually secure victory in 1865? You may need to do some research to get a better idea on what to write about. I will need a five paragraph essay
