Objective: Choose a specific topic within your field of study that is especially important or intriguing to you. Research this topic to discover what conversations or debates are currently happening within the field and how various aspects of the topic affect society. You will create an essay in which you argue a position, and provide necessary background info, good reasons, convincing evidence, appeals to readers’ values, and fair consideration of other positions. You will make use of various rhetorical strategies, include information from credible and relevant sources, and add your own voice to the conversation.  Requirements: This is an argumentative essay. Essay must be at least 1800 words, 12pt font, MLA format, must include research from at least 4 credible and relevant sources (at least one of those sources must be academic peer-reviewed, one must be a trade publication article), must add a works cited page
