General Conference Session

On April 3, 1901 Ellen White speaks to the General Conference Session.  You will her appeal from p. 23 in the (Middle Column Center) that begins “The Chair…” and ends on p. 27 on the (Left Column Center) that ends “God help us to submit to Jesus Christ…”  READ HER APPEAL AND ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: Provided the context to this General Conference, What is the occasion of the appeal? What makes EGW’s appeal significant at this instance coming from the hardship of the 1890s?  What sort of influence did EGW have at this point in the Seventh-day Adventist Church that might have been different from the origins of the church?
