Describe how your family and employment background, education, training and life experiences have influenced your decision to pursue a health professional career.*I am the only child in my family and my mother has been sick very often. I wish i could have helped my mother more when i was young but because i did not have medical knowledge i could not help my mother.2. Describe how your family background, education, training, and life experiences have influenced your commitment to working in a medically underserved area.*my parents are retired high school teachers. they have been to different area to teaching children in poorverly areas. they told me many story of people who got sick and died or could not get treatment because they could not afford medical bill. that’s one of the reasons i want to become a nurse and work for underserved area.3. Have you lived in an underserved or disadvantaged community? If so, please describe your experiences. If not, describe how you can relate to a community that is underserved or disadvantaged.4.
