Northern Ireland Conflict

Purpose: The main goal of the final paper and presentation is to acquire more in-depth information on a border issue or refugee crisis in the world, past or present,  and to present that information to your classmates. Your paper/presentation should also include some comparison to the US/Mexico border. You are required to do additional research at the library to find some academic sources related to your topic.    Final Essay and MLA Bibliography: Students need to have at least three academic sources related to their topic. They can include peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and some newspaper articles and magazines. Wikipedia and general websites will not be counted as part of the bibliography. Your final paper (2-3 pages double spaced 12-font) should include a minimum of these three sources. These sources should be cited in the format of the Modern Language Association (MLA). You are also welcome to include non-academic sources in addition to these three.
