Module is called: Process, Production and Quality Systems in Pharma Industry, and for the assignment: We can look into ISPE.org articles (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering), and Pharma magazines online. One example of Modular Design construction is what´s happening in MSD Carlow, Ireland new facility (for example). Modular construction has several advantages, one being the economy and another advantage being the flexibility. The assignment is based on a future pharmaceutical facility and Pharma 4.0. It is split into 4 parts and covers facility design, modular construction. Questions 1-4 Part 1. Identify and briefly explain the current trends in Pharmaceutical Facility Design. Part 2. Define Modular Construction and discuss some recent industry examples. Part 3. Complete a comprehensive review of the advantages of Modular construction over conventional build. Part 4. As part of the risk review process, identify and explain the challenges and difficulties of Modular construction.
