Recent environmental disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis as such events have claimed the lives of millions while also causing millions in infrastructure damage. Those events have increased the need for humanitarian project which focus on life saving for the most around the world. The research paper will analyse the application of project management principle to see if there are constrains in applying them compare to other project type such as commercial. The study aims to review project management theories in order to see if they are all applicable in humanitarian operations based on life saving fact.
